Daltorpskolan is located in the southwestern part of Borås, just a ten-minute walk from the city center. The school is modern and consists of various buildings. The main building is beautiful and in an old-fashioned grand style, and about 400 students attend the school.

At the school, we work goal-oriented, and the leadership and approach are based on good relationships. We learn from each other and solve challenges together. Support in the work includes student health, library, study and career guidance, and school management.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will consist of teaching French for grades 7-9. We expect you to be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and to focus on goals, results, and quality. You act independently and see how you can challenge students positively through your teaching to inspire a desire to learn and the opportunity to succeed. You will belong to a language subject team for modern languages.

You have high and positive expectations for all students. Your approach is motivating, and you work with significant student influence to provide students with various opportunities to develop. You enjoy meeting young people from different backgrounds and circumstances. You demonstrate this by planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching based on the students' needs.

Qualifications

You who apply are a certified teacher with the authority to teach French for grades 7-9.

You have good leadership qualities and a strong ability to support students in their comprehensive knowledge development and learning in your subject, both individually and together with colleagues. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You find it easy to create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a person, you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and set and adhere to timelines. You help students believe in themselves through continuous feedback and are responsive to your students' opinions and needs.
